Out-of-State Transient Pavers Indicted on Deceptive Trade Practices Violations

PIERRE, S.D - Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that Henry Josh Harrison, 46, Spiro, Oklahoma and Nailor L. Harrison Jr, 49, Carthage, MO were indicted on charges stemming from transient contractor work they were performing in several South Dakota counties. The Harrisons were operating under the business name RNH Paving.

Codington County
- 1 count grand theft by deception, class 4 felony, punishable by up to 10 years in the penitentiary and/or $20,000 fine
- 1 count of failure to inform buyer of their right to cancel, class 6 felony, punishable by up to 2 years in the penitentiary and/or $4,000 fine,
- 1 count failure to furnish cancellation form, class 6 felony, punishable by up to 2 years in the penitentiary and/or $4,000 fine
- 1 count deceptive act by including waiver of rights in door-to-door sale, class 6 felony, punishable by up to 2 years in the penitentiary and/or $4,000 fine
- 2 counts grand theft by deception, class 4 felony, punishable by up to 10 years in the penitentiary and/or $20,000 fine
- 2 counts of failure to inform buyer of their right to cancel, class 6 felony, punishable by up to 2 years in the penitentiary and/or $4,000 fine,
- 2 counts failure to furnish cancellation form, class 6 felony, punishable by up to 2 years in the penitentiary and/or $4,000 fine

- 1 count of failure to inform buyer of their right to cancel, class 6 felony, punishable by up to 2 years in the penitentiary and/or $4,000 fine
- 1 count failure to furnish cancellation form, class 6 felony, punishable by up to 2 years in the penitentiary and/or $4,000 fine
- 1 count deceptive act by including waiver of rights in door-to-door sale, class 6 felony, punishable by up to 2 years in the penitentiary and/or $4,000 fine
- 1 count conspiracy to commit theft by deception grand theft, class 5 felony, punishable by up to 5 years in the penitentiary and/or $10,000 fine
